This Privacy Policy explains how Gamelight GmbH (Loyalty Apps) ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Mines & Meows (the "Game").

Mines & Meows does not require an account. You do not need to register, sign in, or give us your name, email address, phone number, or payment details to play. The Game is supported by advertising.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Information You Provide

None. There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile. We do not ask you for personal information, and we have no way to identify you as an individual.

1.2. Information Stored on Your Device

The Game stores your progress and settings (for example your level, score, and sound preferences) locally on your device. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is deleted when you uninstall the Game.

1.3. Information Collected for Advertising

To show ads, our advertising partner AppLovin MAX and the advertising networks it mediates automatically collect certain information from your device, including:

  • Advertising identifiers (Apple IDFA / IDFV on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android)
  • Device information (device model, operating system and version, language, screen size, network type)
  • IP address, and coarse location derived from it (such as country or region)
  • Ad interaction data (ads shown, taps, views, and whether an ad was completed)
  • Approximate app usage data related to ad delivery (such as session and app version information)

This information is collected directly by our advertising partners through their SDK, which is embedded in the Game.

2. How Information Is Used

Information is used only to:

  • Display ads in the Game, including personalized or contextual ads depending on your choices
  • Measure ad performance, limit how often the same ad is shown to you, and pay for the Game through advertising revenue
  • Detect and prevent ad fraud, invalid traffic, and abuse
  • Keep the Game working correctly and diagnose crashes and technical problems

We do not use this information to build a profile of you by name, and we do not attempt to identify you personally.

3. Advertising and Your Choices

We use AppLovin MAX (AppLovin Corporation) as our advertising mediation platform. AppLovin MAX may pass information to third-party advertising networks in order to fill ad slots. AppLovin's privacy policy is available at https://www.applovin.com/privacy/, and the list of networks it works with is available in their documentation.

You can limit ad tracking at any time:

  • iOS: When you first open the Game you may be asked for permission to track (App Tracking Transparency). You can change this at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Android: You can delete or reset your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization under Settings → Google → Ads.
  • EU/EEA and UK: You will be shown a consent request before any personalized advertising takes place. You can withdraw or change your consent from the privacy or settings menu inside the Game.

If you opt out of personalized advertising, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than our advertising partners for the purposes described above. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect our legal rights.

5. Legal Basis (EU/EEA and UK Users)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Your consent for personalized advertising and any related use of your advertising identifier
  • Our legitimate interest in showing non-personalized (contextual) ads, preventing fraud, and keeping the Game secure and functional

You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing that already took place.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export information about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not hold accounts or any information that identifies you by name, we may need your advertising identifier to locate any data relating to you. 7. California Privacy Rights

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Opting out of ad personalization as described in Section 3 serves as an opt-out. We do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors under 16.

8. Data Retention

We do not store any personal information ourselves. Data collected by our advertising partners is retained according to their own policies and retention periods. Data stored locally in the Game is removed when you uninstall it.

9. Data Security

Our advertising partners use industry-standard measures to protect the information they collect. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Our advertising partners may process information in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Children's Privacy

Mines & Meows carries a content rating suitable for all ages, which reflects the content of the Game only. The Game is intended for and directed at an adult audience. It is not directed to children, it is not part of any families or kids programme, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the applicable minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us at the address below and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

Ads shown in the Game may link to third-party websites or app stores. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above will always show the current version, and significant changes will be communicated in the Game or on our website.
