Offer Didn't Track

Offer Didn't Track? Why It Happens and How to Fix It

Finished the offer but the balance didn't move? The four things that break offer tracking, the fix sequence, and when to file a ticket.

You finished the level, the balance didn't move. In most cases the offer isn't being unfair — the tracking link between your tap and the game's servers broke, and the advertiser never saw that it was you.

Here's what breaks it and what's still fixable.

Why offers don't track

When you start an offer, the platform hands you a unique tracking link. The advertiser uses it to confirm you were the person who installed and played. Four things interrupt that handoff.

You already had the app installed. This is the most common cause by far. Nearly every offer requires a fresh install on a device and account that have never had that app. Deleting and reinstalling doesn't reset it — your device ID is remembered.

You declined the tracking prompt. On iPhone, the "Allow tracking?" popup appears the first time you open a new app. Tap "Ask App Not to Track" and attribution is dead on arrival. On Android, the equivalent is having ads personalization switched off.

A VPN, ad blocker, or private browser interfered. Anything masking your device or blocking redirects can strip the tracking parameters before the store page loads.

You switched devices or waited too long. Starting on a tablet and installing on a phone breaks the chain. So does tapping the link, getting distracted, and installing from the store an hour later.

How to fix an offer that isn't tracking

Don't keep grinding levels in hope. Work through this instead:

  1. Check your pending list. Most platforms show a "clicked" status within minutes. If nothing is there, tracking never started — that's your answer.
  2. Turn off the VPN and ad blocker, then restart the phone.
  3. Confirm the app is new to you. If the store shows "Open" or a cloud icon instead of "Install," pick a different offer.
  4. Enable tracking permissions. iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Android: Settings → Google → Ads.
  5. Start again from the offer link, not the store. Install immediately, open the app right away, accept the tracking prompt.
  6. Give it time. Install confirmations usually post within 15 minutes; level milestones can take 24–72 hours to verify.

When it's worth contacting support

If your click registered, you met the requirement exactly as written, and 72 hours have passed with nothing credited, that's a real ticket. Send a screenshot of your in-game profile showing the level, your install date, and your username. Vague reports rarely get resolved; a timestamped screenshot usually does.

On MoneyCash offer progress stays visible while you play, so a stalled tracker is easier to catch early than after a week of grinding. If instant crediting is what you're after, our rundown of apps that pay instantly compares how quickly different platforms post a balance.

Habits that prevent it

Run one offer at a time from a single device — stacking installs makes attribution messy and support harder to untangle. Screenshot every milestone. Read the requirement literally: "reach level 50 within 14 days" means the clock started at install, not at your first session.

And keep your setup clean. Clearing your advertising ID to "reset" an offer, or running the same offer on two platforms, is the kind of thing covered in what's allowed and what gets you banned — it won't fix tracking and it can cost you the balance.

Getting the first 60 seconds right — clean install, tracking allowed, no VPN — prevents most of this.
